native of
San Francisco-based Charles Chocolates is an artisan confectioner that makes small batch chocolates and other handmade sweets. Started in 2004 by 20-year chocolate industry veteran Chuck Siegel, Charles Chocolates has received rave reviews in the Bay Area and nationally with its Peanut Butterflies, single-grape varietal pâtes de fruits and other delicious confections. Charles Chocolates uses Strauss Creamery organic cream and butter as well as organic herbs, fruits and nuts in its product line.
Organic To Go (OTCBB: OTGO.OB) is a retail store, caterer and meal delivery service that provides delicious and natural soups, salads, sandwiches and entrées packaged for convenient take-out or delivery. All O to Go fare is made with organic ingredients whenever possible and is always natural, wholesome and free of harmful chemicals and grown and raised with care. O to Go brings similar pricing and delivery services as other box lunch retailers and cafes, even though its ingredients are typically more costly to produce.
Sambazon is the vertically integrated global leader in açai products. The company was founded in 2000 by Ryan Black, his brother and a friend while they were visiting Brazil, home to açai. The company produces a variety of Fair Trade, certified organic juices, smoothie, energy drinks, sorbet and supplements made with açai. Sambazon promotes environmental protection, social justice, helping others, and helping promote positive changes in the Amazon Rainforest through a variety of programs.
